Interview Procedure for Truck Drivers
Truck driver is a specific position. You work alone most of the time. You are responsible for your truck and for your cargo. On the other hand, you do not need any special skills or experience to get this job. All you need to know is to drive a truck. It is difficult to recruit the truck drivers. Just think about it. You can let them to drive the truck, but you can not send them with it to another country. You can hardly give them any interview questions. You can do so, but it will hardly help you to decide about the best candidates. Try and hire is probably the best method how to recruit truck drivers. You should hire them for a probation period of one month. If they are good and deliver goods without any problems, you can offer them a permanent contract. If they are not good in their job, you can fire them immediately. You can use this system to distinguish good drivers from bad drivers. It will cost you some money, but it is the only way how to do it.
