Ageing and Dealing with Varicose Veins
Some older folks tend to get Varicose Veins as they age. For years there was not a clear reason why this affected some people but not everyone. Some doctors would claim that it was hereditary and others would claim it had more to do with the environment you were raised in and what kind of activities you participated in throughout your life. Several women in my family that are much older than me have varicose veins. It has not created much of a hardship for them, but they certainly are not very attractive. It has been cause to wear longer pants and dresses to hide the veins. I figure that its just something that can happen when you are older so I don’t give it much thought, but to them appearance is still a sense of personal pride I guess. I looked forward to the day I might have them and I’ll flaunt them the best I can.
